Colours, sizes and the clock

Personalise the interface without changing Android’s system display size.

Before you start

Options depend on your plan, profile, installed build and provider. Understand access. Screenshots use fictional demonstration data; a preview layout can differ slightly from a public build.

#Colours and corners

Open Settings → Appearance & navigation → Appearance → Colours.

  1. Choose Accent to change highlights.
  2. Choose the shared app background or the individual Home, Live TV and Guide backgrounds.
  3. Use a listed colour or Custom colour and enter a valid hex colour code.
  4. Use Pure black / AMOLED for a black background; the individual tinted backgrounds are hidden while it is enabled.
Keep in mind

Poster corners and Interface corners are separate. Changing the colour does not enable the optional Guide glass effect.

Appearance settings control the app’s visual presentation. These app settings are separate from Android’s system display density. Actual app screen · fictional demonstration content, not included with M3ufy. Layout may vary by version and device.

#Interface size versus text size

Interface size changes how much app UI fits on screen: lower numbers make the interface bigger. Wait for the app to redraw after changing it. Text size changes writing without the same layout scaling. These are app settings, not a reason to alter Android’s device-wide DPI with debugging commands.

#Clock and player overlay

Clock chooses system, 12-hour or 24-hour formatting. Clock while playing decides whether the clock is hidden, appears with controls, or stays pinned left/right over Live TV, movies and series. To avoid covering a title when information/paused controls are visible, a left-positioned clock can temporarily move to the right.

#Font, language, glass and logos

App font changes the app typeface. Language changes interface and requested metadata language; untranslated titles keep their original names. Live TV info bar selects the original or Glass design. Guide glass effect is separately optional. Guide logos affect channels only; select their correct owning playlist in TV Guide settings before applying them.

#Choose an app font

Open Settings → Appearance & navigation → Appearance → App font. Select a family and return to Home to judge headings, card labels and programme text at your normal viewing distance.

  1. Choose Poppins to keep the established M3ufy look, Lato for another bundled option, or Default for the system family.
  2. In the upcoming font preview, Outfit and Plus Jakarta Sans are additional choices. Both are bundled for offline use.
  3. Your selection is saved. Change Text size or Interface size separately if you need a different reading size.
Keep in mind

Outfit and Plus Jakarta Sans are in preview build 3.98.12-font2 (706), not in public release 3.98.11. Arabic-script interface languages continue to use the bundled Arabic fallback.

App font picker in preview 3.98.12-font2 (706): Outfit and Plus Jakarta Sans join Default, Poppins and Lato. The two new families are not in public release 3.98.11. Actual app screen · fictional demonstration content, not included with M3ufy. Layout may vary by version and device.
