Manage M3ufy from your browser
A complete guide to m3ufy.com/link: your TVs, playlists, profiles, services and account controls.
Options depend on your plan, profile, installed build and provider. Understand access. Screenshots use fictional demonstration data; a preview layout can differ slightly from a public build.
#Open My Account or This device
Open m3ufy.com/link on a phone or computer. There are two sign-in modes. My account uses your M3ufy email/password and lists linked TVs. This device uses the MAC address and Device Key from that TV’s Settings → Account & app → About, without creating an email account.
- Choose My account to manage your household, or This device for one TV.
- Sign in using the fields for that mode and complete the displayed browser security check yourself.
- In My Devices, choose Manage beside the intended TV. Check its name/key before editing.
- On a phone, open the compact section menu to switch between Playlists, Watching, Sports and the other tabs.
Keep the MAC/Device Key pair private: together they allow device management. The longer device security key is not the Device Key field. Do not enter an IPTV provider password into the M3ufy account form.
#Know which TV you are editing
The device dashboard is for the selected TV, not automatically every TV on the account. Use ← My devices to choose another. Rename gives a linked TV a useful account label. A successful edit on one device does not promise the same settings were applied to every other device.
#Playlists: add, edit or remove a source
Choose Playlists. Add a playlist accepts Xtream Codes, M3U URL or Stalker Portal. Enter a Name and the source-specific fields. M3U has an optional TV guide URL; Stalker needs the provider-authorised MAC. Choose Add playlist and wait for a success response.
- Find an existing source under Your playlists and choose Edit when its address or login changes.
- Correct the source fields and choose Save changes. For Xtream, New playlist password is optional: leave it blank to keep the saved password, or enter the new provider password to replace it.
- On the TV, use Settings → Library & content → Playlist → Sync with cloud to request a configuration check.
- Use Refresh playlist & guide only when you also want newly imported provider channels/programmes.
Delete removes that saved source: read the confirmation. Website sync is not an EPG download. Web connection editing requires a compatible current app; the dashboard identifies 3.98.9 or newer for these edits. Editing the existing source avoids duplicates when only credentials change.
#Watching: progress, Watchlist and watched titles
The Watching tab has Continue watching and Favourites & watched. Inspect saved progress, see the Favourite/Watched tags and remove unwanted entries. These are saved-state tools, not a full movie search or browser streaming player. The dedicated Watching tutorial explains the important difference between removing a progress entry and removing a saved library entry.
#Sports: much more than a page switch
The Sports tab controls page visibility, Home matches, major/listed competitions, followed sports and their order, competition visibility/order, extra competitions, favourite teams, kick-off reminders and hidden teams. Changes save as you go; reopen Sports on the TV to pick them up. The dedicated Sports dashboard tutorial walks through these controls.
#Profiles from a keyboard
Open Profiles to rename a profile, change its colour, toggle Kids profile or use + Add profile. Up to four profiles are offered; the original Main profile is protected from deletion. Edits save automatically after a short pause; wait for Saved and check for errors before closing the page. The TV picks up changes as it syncs.
Deleting another profile also removes its associated watching/favourites/recording state as described in the confirmation. Do not delete a profile just to rename it. Profile sync on several TVs can depend on matching profile names.
#Add-ons: add, switch and order
Open Add-ons and paste a supported manifest address, then choose Add add-on. Existing rows have an enabled switch, Move up / Move down buttons and Remove. The order affects how add-on results are offered. Turning one off keeps its configuration; removal forgets it. The TV needs time/connectivity to receive the change.
Manifest addresses may contain service credentials. Masking parts of the displayed URL is not permission to publish it. Adding an add-on does not grant rights or a subscription to its content.
#VPN: upload a configuration without remote typing
Open VPN, give the tunnel a name, choose a .conf/.ovpn file or paste its configuration, then select Add to my TV. Several configurations can be kept, but only one is selected at a time. Use this one, Rename and Remove manage existing entries. An OpenVPN ZIP bundle must be imported on the TV rather than uploaded as a single text configuration here.
A VPN configuration is a credential. The page lists names/server details instead of returning private configuration keys. Selecting a configuration is not proof that Android granted VPN permission or that the tunnel connected: check its status in the TV’s VPN settings.
#API Keys: optional personal service access
Open API Keys for TMDB, OMDb, TVmaze, MDBList, SubDL or SubSource. A dotted/masked value means a key is already saved. Leave it unchanged to retain it; type a new key to replace it; clear a field only if you mean to remove that key. Choose Save keys and read the result. Reload retrieves the saved state.
The dashboard says to restart M3ufy for newly saved keys. This is different from Sports changes, which arrive when Sports opens. Never copy a masked value into another app as if it were the real key.
#Subscribe and Device & Subscription
Subscribe displays currently available plans/payment methods and can request email verification. Choose only the plan/device you intend, follow the checkout and wait for confirmed status. Device & Subscription shows the TV’s entitlement and identifiers. An activation enables player features; it does not purchase IPTV channels. Promotional offers appear only when eligible; an old screenshot is not a current offer.
#My Devices: linking, seats and activation moves
In My account, Add a device links a TV using its identifiers. Manage opens its dashboard; Rename changes its label; Unlink account removes the account relationship without factory-resetting it. A five-device plan offers its eligible Activate / Free seat controls. Move activation, when offered, transfers entitlement to a replacement TV while keeping the original expiry.
Unlink account, Free seat and Move activation do different things. Moving an activation takes entitlement away from the old TV and is subject to the displayed eligibility/cooldown; it does not copy playlists/settings. Read the confirmation and check the destination carefully. If the old account is unavailable, contact support for an ownership check.
#When changes reach the app
Do not treat every dashboard edit as the same kind of sync. Playlist configuration can be requested with Sync with cloud; importing the provider catalogue/EPG is a separate refresh. Sports preferences apply when Sports is opened again. Profile/service changes need the TV to receive their updated configuration. API-key changes require the restart described by the dashboard. Account-level watch-progress sharing is read on returning to Home.
Wait for a success/Saved response and check the intended TV. If a change fails, keep the page’s error, app version and approximate time for support; do not repeatedly reset the app.
#Cloud dashboard versus local channel editor
m3ufy.com/link is the cloud dashboard for saved source credentials, preferences and device/account management. Manage channels from phone / PC in the app creates a temporary local editor for channel display names, mixed-playlist custom groups, favourites and ordering. Use the local editor for detailed channel organisation; do not expect the cloud Playlists tab to list every channel.
#Sign out and keep access private
Use Sign out on a shared phone/computer. Do not share QR sign-in links, session codes, source URLs or keys in public screenshots. If a security check fails, reload the official page and complete its check; never disable security protections as a workaround. Cloud recovery only covers data actually synced to the correct account, not every local file on the TV.
