Profiles and parental controls
Separate viewing preferences and control access to children’s and adult groups.
Options depend on your plan, profile, installed build and provider. Understand access. Screenshots use fictional demonstration data; a preview layout can differ slightly from a public build.
#Create or edit a profile
Open Settings → Account & app → Profiles.
- Open Profiles, then choose an existing profile to edit or add a new one.
- Set its Name and Colour. Enable Kids profile only for a child’s profile.
- Save, then select that profile to use it.
- Enable Who’s watching at startup if users should choose each launch.
Profile separation is not a separate IPTV subscription. Some services/configuration are shared on the installation. Check the active profile before clearing history or altering Home.
#Parent code and adult lock
Set a four-digit parent code. The same code leaves a child profile and opens locked adult groups. Lock adult groups recognises names such as Adult, XXX or +18; a provider that labels adult content differently may not be caught. It is an aid, not a guarantee that every unsuitable stream is classified correctly.
#Lock again or remove the code
After unlocking a group during the current app session, Ask for the code again restores the prompt. Remove the parent code asks for the current code and also disables adult locking. Do not share the code or show it in screenshots.
#Delete a profile carefully
Use the profile’s delete action and read its confirmation before confirming. A profile’s settings/history can be removed. Deleting a profile is not the same as unlinking this TV from an email account.
